1. Scope
This policy covers only the rytewaylabs.com website operated by RYTEWAY LABS LLC (“we”, “us”), including its support form. It does not cover our apps. Each app has its own privacy policy, which governs that app. For example, Calorite AI’s policy is published at calorite.ai.
2. What we collect
- Support form: the name, email address, app or topic, and message you enter, plus anything else you choose to include in the message.
- Emails you send us: if you write to contact@rytewaylabs.com, we receive your email address, the content of your message, and any attachments.
- Hosting and server logs: like most websites, our host may automatically record technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps when you visit. Our hosting provider records basic technical data for a limited period under its service terms. We use it to run and secure the site, not for advertising.
If you accept analytics in our banner, we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited and which sites or campaigns refer visitors. It does not use third-party cookies. Visitors are identified by a hash generated from the request, which is not stored permanently and is discarded after 24 hours, and no identifiers that track you across other websites are collected. For each page view, Vercel may store the event timestamp, the page URL and dynamic path, the referrer, filtered query parameters, approximate location (country, region, and city), the device’s operating system and version, the browser and version, the device type, and the analytics script version. If you reject analytics, it does not run. The website does not use advertising cookies and does not require an account.
3. Your analytics choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether to allow analytics. Analytics is off unless you accept, and a browser Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a rejection. Your choice is saved in your browser (in local storage, not a cookie) together with the date, and we ask again after 12 months. You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy choices” link in the footer of every page.
4. Why we use it
- To respond to your support requests and questions.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.
- If you accept analytics, to understand how the website is used.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or ad targeting.
5. How long we keep it
We keep support requests and emails for up to 12 months after the last message about the request, then delete them, unless we need to keep them longer to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or address a security issue. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for the limited period set by its service terms.
6. Who processes it
We use the following service providers to run the website. They process data on our behalf.
- Website hosting: Vercel Inc.
- Website analytics (only if you accept): Vercel Inc. (Vercel Web Analytics)
- Support form delivery: Resend, Inc. (email delivery), which sends form submissions to our inbox
- Email for contact@rytewaylabs.com: Zoho Corporation (Zoho Mail)
We may also disclose information if required by law.
7. Legal bases (EU and UK visitors)
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, we process the information you send us through the support form or by email in order to respond to your request. We process analytics data only with your consent.
8. International transfers
Our service providers are based in the United States. Where the law requires it, we rely on their standard contractual safeguards for transfers of personal data.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain uses. To make a request, email contact@rytewaylabs.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
You may withdraw your consent to analytics at any time using the “Privacy choices” link in the footer. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Children’s privacy
The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will say so prominently on this page.
